Vidita started her journey as an entrepreneur in 2014 with Rhythm Winery, in the fruit wine making business. She is a WSET level 2 in wines and spirits, making her well versed with the world of wines. Her prowess in the sales and marketing front of the business has helped Rhythm become a brand name not only in India but overseas as well.

The Rhythm Alphonso wine has also been exported to the UK since 2018, catering to several prominent restaurants including those with Michelin stars. It is her vision to soon make the wines a well known name in the global wine market place, some day.

Akalpit Prabhune

Director & Chief Winemaker

He is a cofounder and working as a managing director of Rhythm Winery, a subsidiary of Hill Crest Foods and Beverages Pvt. Ltd., playing an instrumental role in Production, Research and Development, and exploring new markets.

Akalpit hails from Pune, Maharashtra. An engineer by education, he has over 19 years of experience in the fields of software, construction as well as foods and beverages, of which, he has over 10 years of relevant experience in wine making. His journey in wine started a decade ago, when he visited the winery in Napa Valley, USA on a business trip and got passionate about wine making and tasting. To venture into the wine business, he completed a course from the Wine Spectator School of USA, and developed mastery over fruit wines such as pineapple, kiwi, strawberry, peach and plum among others.

Dhananjay Datar

Chief Strategy Advisor

He works as a Chief Strategy Advisor on the board and helps company to define and develop strategies for new products and markets.

Dhananjay commands a vast experience of over 25 years in the wine industry. He has worked as the Vice President at the Indage, India’s pioneering wine and champagne producer, and has also launched and marketed Indian wines in the UK market. He is highly knowledgeable of the various state excise rules and regulations.  He was instrumental in development of the Indian Wine Board concept for the Govt. of India. He has worked as a convener for the All India Wine Producers Association and Chief Operating Officer – Indian Grape Processing Board.

A businessman and an athlete, Aryan is a dynamic youngster with a background in trading, logistics, and hospitality. He is an investor at Rhythm Winery, strongly supporting the brand and its market presence.
